This is where the magic happens! Sign up to sing in class and get one-on-one time to work your song with us, your Broadway Vocal Coach 😊 . Learn even more by watching others work their songs in class.
Will I get access to one-on-one coaching?
Yes! Singers get individual coaching time during studio class. Simply sign up to sing!
Will this replace my regular voice lessons?
If you regularly work with a voice teacher, awesome! BVC gives you a ton of additional musical help so that you can maximize the time spent working on technique in your private voice lessons. If you’re not with a regular voice teacher, that’s cool too. We’re both experienced voice teachers who offer a lot of technical help (if that’s what you’re in need of) during studio classes.
What if I want more than the offered services each month?
We have options!
If you need additional piano tracks or fancy-looking cuts, you can get as much as you need for a small additional fee.
If you need even more vocal help, you are always welcome to reach out to Chelsea or Cynthia for individual lessons or coachings.
Can I cancel anytime?
Life, rehearsals, and other commitments happen! You can cancel or pause your membership anytime, and resume whenever you like, just let us know. We do encourage that you commit to a minimum of two months within the BVC Membership. Transformation takes commitment, and we believe that if you invest a minimum of two months in yourself, you will have a much higher chance of building momentum and seeing real transformation!
I just graduated from college. Is this for me?
1000% yes! Post-graduation is one of the toughest times to navigate. You miss your classes and teachers, and until you start booking jobs, it’s tough to afford everything. BVC is the perfect way to fill this gap, get the help you need, and keep growing your skills!
I’m not a professional actor. Is this for me?
Yes! Our goal is to help you reach your highest potential, whether you are working professionally or not. Planning for auditioning at your school or community theatre? All of our resources will apply to those settings as well!
I’m in a long-running show and not auditioning. Is this for me?
Oh yeah! Think of it as cross-training for your voice. Singing in a long-running show can tax our voices in ways we don’t always realize. Belting your face off on Broadway every night? Come to studio class and sing something more classical to keep your vocal chops flexible. Tailor your work with us to discover ways to make your eight-show-per-week singing feel even more free and easy, or participate simply to keep your joy of performing feeling fresh.
I’m a voice teacher/coach. Is this for me?
If you are a voice teacher or coach who sings, then yes, this might be great for you! If you are not actively singing, and only want to observe or watch others work, then this might not be the right fit right now. But stay on the mailing list—we are planning to expand soon to work with teachers and coaches who are looking to gain more tools and ideas to bring back to their own studios.
I don’t think I can afford this. Are there any other options for me?
We get it. Even though we are keeping the monthly cost as low as possible, it can still feel like a lot. But we are so confident that when you make a commitment and invest in yourself, it will pay off! Think about whether the cost of less than $50/week is really holding you back, OR if it could actually propel you forward!
If the cost truly is just not possible for you at this time, please stay on the mailing list. We will be offering scholarships soon for those who need it.
Who are the “special guests”?
Past series include workshops withcasting directors Rachel HoffmanandAlison Franck; a Q&A with Tony Award-winning Gavin Creel; masterclass with agent Sean McKnight, a headshot deep dive withphotographer Ted Ely; masterclasses with music directorMary Mitchell Campbelland vocal coachFiona McDougal;online presence for actors webinar withSarah Kleist;mindfulness and mental fortitude withRenee Maranan, and more!
I don’t live in NYC. Is this for me?
Absolutely! Everything takes place online. This is the beauty of online classes—you can access them from anywhere!
Why group classes?
Two big reasons:
1. You get the benefit of getting one-on-one time in class, and you get to learn even more by watching other people work.
2. The more you sing and make adjustments in front of other people, the more comfortable you get... singing and making adjustments in front of other people! Auditioning might actually start to feel fun.
How do I get a piano track made?
Once you join BVC, just click “Get Piano Track” on your online dashboard and all the step-by-step instructions are there. Easy!
My vocal coach already does these things for me. Why do I need this?
Awesome! But could you improve faster, stay more accountable, and become more inspired with BVC? We think so.
We offer additional benefits: singing in group classes, being part of a community, attending special guest masterclasses, and having a library of resources you can access anytime.
What happens if I can't attend the classes live?
We post the month's calendar of events at the start of every month. As much as you can, please plan your schedule to attend!
Portions of our Special Guest Series and Studio Classes will be recorded and available to watch as a replay on your membership dashboard. And of course, there's our growing library of resources that is always available to access!
